PRO STANCHIONS MARCH MADNESS ARENA BRACKET CHALLENGE

#1 Seed AT&T Stadium Takes on #8 Seed First Niagara Center

The Elite 8 of Pro Stanchions 2014 Arena Bracket Challenge is upon us.  Get to know the competitors:

AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas is not only the pinnacle of stadium architecture, but it is also home to the NFL Dallas Cowboys AND the 2014 Final Four NCAA Men's Basketball championship being held on April 5th & 6th.  The stadium has a standing room capacity of approximately 105,000 attendees, in 2009 its high definition video screen was the largest in the world and has played host to the Super Bowl and NBA All-Star.  These credentials easily made AT&T Stadium the #1 overall seed for venues hosting the 2014 NCAA March Madness tournament.

After its 1st round win over PNC Arena, First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York will be a major underdog in its 2nd round matchup.  Home to the NHL Buffalo Sabres and NLL Buffalo Bandits, the arena (formerly HSBC Arena) has a seating capacity of 19,070, less than 20% of its AT&T Stadium.  Over the last 14 years, the arena has hosted the NCAA March Madness tournament 5 times.  In 2012 the Harbor Center expansion project began at the arena and the two NHL-size ice rinks located on the sixth floor of Harbor Center, when coupled with First Niagara Center, will make the first three-rink complex of its kind in the NHL.

Who's your favorite?  Log in and vote at Pro Stanchions' 2014 Arena Bracket Challenge.  2nd round voting ends Sunday, March 30th.
