The Evolution of Crowd Control
Stanchion Report: April Runs Create Stock Shortages
Popular Barricades & Posts To Be Replenished
April 25, 2018
New innovations and industry staples have been very popular this month. Spring has sprung in the Crowd Control industry and clients are beginning to demand more equipment.
Strong demand for orange and black powder coated flat feet 8' bike rack barricades have depleted stores of these heavy-duty beasts in both colors. We still have plenty of the even more popular galvanized steel bike rack barricades in both flat and bridge feet in the meantime, in stock and ready to ship. As always, our low prices on these barriers make Pro Stanchions your #1 choice for heavy-duty crowd control.
Visiontron's latest innovation, the magnetic base mount Retracta-Belt post has caused quite a stir in the market. The super strong magnetic base mounts a floor receiving plate that can be secured to any smooth, flat surface. The plate can be screwed down or the even more popular and less invasive procedure of fastening with VHB tape or epoxy. The second option is very popular with applications involving Terrazzo and surfaces that cannot be permanently disturbed. Combine those features with the fact that all Visiontron posts (including 10', 15' and 30' options) can be fitted with the magnetic base and the demand has outweighed the current supply. Even with the temporary stock-out, always get your order in so you are the first to receive equipment when the equipment is replenished.
With the temporary unavailability of the WeatherPro series of outdoor retractable belt stanchions, it would seem that Queue Solutions has filled a void in the marketplace. Clients are requiring more durable outdoor posts with aesthetically pleasing designs, and they are demanding more from them. The unique feature of the WeatherPro is its cast aluminum base weight. It has no cover and only a 1/4" rise, while still providing a sturdy 20 lbs. of weight. This eliminates both rusting and tripping hazards at the same time. These units have already been put in place at high-end Bahamian resorts, manufacturing facilities, and national monuments.
The bike rack barricades and WeatherPro units should be back in stock and ready to ship by late May and the magnetic Retracta-Belt post should be ready by mid-late June.
